This is the full-sized PadFone Infinity Lite, which just broke cover today. The Asus officially announced it in Taiwan on Wednesday.
The devices are one part
phone and one part tablet. The phone, when inserted into the tablet
shell, ultimately powers the tablet and can even re-charge from a second
built-in battery.
The phone itself has a
5-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 600 processor clocked at 1.7GHz, 2GB
of RAM, a 13-megapixel camera and 32GB of internal storage.
The tablet offers a 10.1-inch screen with a 1080p resolution and a 5,000mAh battery. The device runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, which is a few versions of Android behind KitKat.
The PadFone Infinity Lite Launch its debut is yet to be known, but hopefully we learn more from Asus next week during Mobile World Congress.
