In this android 5.5 KitKat update we get changes like tweaks to the location menu, by this, you quickly turn on the ability to find your location by turning on your GPS, Wi-Fi and mobile network thanks to “more intuitive” changes.

Messaging has been enhanced with the option to choose between using the default messaging app or Google Hangouts as your option. There are also new Emoji to choose from.

Finally, the important Google’s Mobile Service apps have been updated with the ability to automatically backup photos and videos, as well as to rename, share and view Google Docs.

We’re happy to see Samsung is offering the update to older devices, particularly the Galaxy S III and the Galaxy S III mini, because Google said Android 4.4 KitKat was designed to run well even on older devices.

With the rollout beginning today, be sure to check for updates in your Settings app and enjoy!
