Samsung published a list of the devices to be updated to Android 4.4 KitKat. Here are the some of the changes you can expect. Android 4.4 KitKat
will begin rolling out to a lot of the devices today, though Samsung
didn’t say which ones will get it update sooner than other listed
Samsung devices.

In this android 5.5
KitKat update we get changes like tweaks to the location menu, by this,
you quickly turn on the ability to find your location by turning on your
GPS, Wi-Fi and mobile network thanks to “more intuitive” changes.
Messaging has been enhanced with the option to choose between using the default messaging app or Google Hangouts as your option. There are also new Emoji to choose from.
Finally, the important
Google’s Mobile Service apps have been updated with the ability to
automatically backup photos and videos, as well as to rename, share and
view Google Docs.
We’re happy to see
Samsung is offering the update to older devices, particularly the Galaxy
S III and the Galaxy S III mini, because Google said Android 4.4 KitKat
was designed to run well even on older devices.
