Clear: The app is not new, but it’s loved for its minimal design and expert functionality. And note that its free for today only. At the very least, you should give it a shot, especially if iOS 7’s built-in Reminders app doesn’t cut it for you.

="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The price
of Clear is around $4.99, so this is actually a pretty big drop for a
mobile application. I got it because it’s free, which is the point of the sale.
If you haven’t heard of the app before, it was featured in Apple’s Best
of 2012 collection, and it has been endlessly lauded from some big
publications. Clear calls its take on the to-do list “unbelievably
simple, quick and satisfying to use.” Lists can be stored with iCloud,
too, which allows you to synch everything across your iPhone, iPad and Mac.
Most
to-do apps are the same, but Clear has managed to build a favorable
reputation in the mobile space. Although it’s extremely simple, that
might actually work to its advantage, never overcomplicating what needs
to get done.
In
addition to Clear for iOS being free, Realmac announced the app now
supports the iPad; Realmac previously released Clear+ for the iPad,
and actually pulled the original version. That version was eventually
reintroduced, but not before a bit of customer confusion. Moving
forward, all Clear+ customers will actually be moved over to Clear, thus
the temporary price drop. The deal is only available for 24-hours, so download it now.
