all price ranges. The base model is the Lumix DMC-SZ10, which has a 16MP
CCD, F3.1-6.3 24-228mm equiv. lens, and flip-up 2.7" LCD (460k dot). It
also records video at 720/30p and offers built-in Wi-Fi (minus NFC).
The estimated selling price is $199.
Stepping up to the DMC-ZS45 (TZ57 in some regions) gives you a 16MP
CMOS sensor, 24-480mm equiv. lens, 1080/30p video, Wi-Fi with NFC, and a
1.04M dot 3" tilting LCD. It'll be priced at $299.
The top model is the Lumix DMC-ZS50 (also know as the TZ70) that has a
12MP CMOS sensor (down from 18MP on its predecessor), F3.3-6.4 24-720mm
lens, 5-axis 'hybrid' image stabilization, and 1080/60p video. Unlike
the two models above, the ZS50 has a fixed 3" 1.04M dot LCD as well as a
1.2M dot electronic viewfinder. You'll be able to get your hands on the
ZS50 for $399.
