Sony has released a firmware update for the SLT-a77 II, its 24MP
semi-pro APS-C camera. Firmware 2.00 claims improved autofocus speed in
all light conditions, but notably a 2.5x improvement in low light. Also
added is support for XAVC-S format full HD video recording at
60p/30p/24p (requiring a Class 10 or faster SDXC card). The firmware
update is currently available for download from Sony's support website.
